Correspondence, advertisements, clippings, reports, and promotional materials concerning PHOTOPLAY, a popular motion-picture magazine which carried much questionable advertising, 1925-1935; Photo-Synthetic Tea, an alleged diabetes cure, 1930-35; phrenology, which alleged to analyze personality by "hills and valleys" in the skull, 1903-1939; and Phylacogens, multi-purpose vaccines manufactured by Parke, Davis & Co. and implicated in a number of deaths, 1911-1920.
